17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, 7 Grand Civic Challenges

At the heart of The CivicoLabs Innovation Method is the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UN introduced the 17 SDGs — based on economic, social and environmental dimensions — in 2016 to help the world understand what improvements were needed for a “better and sustainable future for all.” 

To make these 17 SDGs more actionable and accessible to cities,  we’ve translated them into seven grand civic challenges to unlock an all-sector partnership at the city level.
